1. Definitions

Mario Test ("we", "us") is a service provider for at-home blood testing, based in Amsterdam.
Client ("you") is the natural person who schedules an appointment for blood collection.
Service includes on-location blood collection, processing, laboratory analysis, and reporting of results.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to all appointments, quotations, and services provided by Mario Test. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to these terms.

3. Service delivery

Blood collection is performed by a BIG-registered professional (nurse or medical analyst).
Blood samples are processed by a certified medical laboratory.
Mario Test does not provide medical diagnoses. Results are intended for insight, prevention, and health optimization.
In case of abnormal values, we always advise contacting a general practitioner or treating physician.
A medical consultation is optionally available upon request - not included by default.

4. Appointments & cancellation

4.1 Confirmation

An appointment is final after written confirmation by email. The definitive price is stated in the confirmation.

4.2 Cancellation by client

More than 48 hours before the appointment: Free cancellation.
24–48 hours before the appointment: 50% of the appointment fee will be charged. Lab costs will not be charged.
Less than 24 hours / no-show: 100% of the appointment fee will be charged.

4.3 Cancellation by Mario Test

We reserve the right to cancel an appointment in case of force majeure, illness of the professional, or unsafe conditions. In such cases, no costs will be charged and a new appointment will be scheduled.

4.4 Rescheduling

Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

5. Prices & payment

5.1 Price structure

The total price consists of:

Laboratory costs: Exact cost price from the laboratory, without markup.
Appointment fee: On-location blood collection, materials, venipuncture, processing, and reporting. Depends on location.
Mileage allowance: Based on travel distance (round trip).

All prices are exclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise.

5.2 Payment

Payment is made in advance or on the day of the appointment, via bank transfer or another agreed payment method.
The payment term is 14 days after the invoice date.
In case of late payment, we reserve the right to charge statutory interest and collection costs.

6. Medical liability

Important: Mario Test is not a healthcare provider and does not make medical diagnoses. The service is intended for insight and prevention - not a replacement for medical care.

6.1 Venipuncture (blood collection)

Blood collection via venipuncture is a minimally invasive procedure with very small risks.
Possible side effects: minor bruising, brief dizziness, in rare cases a local infection.
The professional follows strict hygiene protocols and uses only sterile disposable materials.
Clients are asked to complete a consent form in advance.

6.2 Limitation of liability

Mario Test is not liable for the interpretation or consequences of results by the client.
Mario Test is not liable for errors or delays caused by the laboratory.
The total liability of Mario Test is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service.
Mario Test is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, or lost income.

6.3 TRT & hormonal monitoring

TRT/Hormones disclaimer: Mario Test does not provide, prescribe, or sell any medications, hormones, or anabolic steroids. Our TRT monitoring packages are solely intended for monitoring blood values in individuals who are already under the care of a physician. The use of testosterone or other hormones should always be under medical supervision.

8. Complaints procedure

In accordance with the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wkkgz):

Complaints can be submitted by email. We aim to provide a substantive response within 10 business days.
If a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may refer it to a recognized dispute resolution body.
You always have the right to file a complaint with the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ).

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website (texts, design, logos) is the property of Mario Test and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Amendments

Mario Test reserves the right to amend these terms. Amended terms will be published on the website. In case of substantial changes, clients with a pending appointment will be notified by email.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
