Frequently asked questions
Do I need to fast?
For glucose, insulin and triglycerides, fast for at least 8–10 hours. We discuss this when scheduling.
How quickly do I get results?
Standard markers: 1–5 working days. Special markers (Omega-3, Cystatin C, hormones) up to 14 working days.
Do you come outside Amsterdam?
Yes, all of the Netherlands. Travel costs are calculated based on location. Use the price calculator or email us for a quote.
Why no discount for multiple packages?
Lab costs are the exact cost price - no margin. You do save: multiple packages in one appointment = one appointment fee.
Can I speak to a doctor about my results?
Yes, a medical consultation is optionally available on request - not included by default.
Is this covered by health insurance?
No, private service. Some employer budgets or collective insurance may partially cover this.
What if my values are abnormal?
Mario Test does not make medical diagnoses. For abnormalities, we recommend consulting your GP. Medical consultation available on request.
